IPE 140/45

(Addendum to Datasheet IPE 140)

Special version of IPE 140 in a spectral range of the CO2 absorption band

For optimal match of the instrument

to the application three different

focusable optics are available.

The IPE 140/45 is a special pyrometer

for the temperature measurement of

hot CO2 containing combustion gas.

The pyrometer is able to measure

hot combustion gas (with typically

approx. 10% CO2) with a thickness of

40 cm.

Like the basic IPE 140 the IPE 140/45

is a highly accurate digital

pyrometer. The narrow spectral

range in the CO2 absorption band

enables the measurement of flames

and hot combustion gases.

• Temperature range:

400 ... 2000 °C

• Measurement of flame

temperatures

• Measurement of combustion

gas temperatures

REFERENCE NUMBERS

Temp. range: 400 ... 2000 °C (MB 20)

Spectral range: CO2 absorption band for hot CO2 gas

Uncertainty:

(Tamb.=25 °C ε=1 t90=1s)

Up to 1300 °C:

Above 1300 °C:

0.6% of reading in °C

0.8% of reading in °C
