0℃到1600℃,铂铑热电偶•;S型,Platinum 10% Rhodium-Platinum (铂10%铑-铂),常用于氧化气氛中,温度范围达1600℃,灵敏度6-12μV/℃•;R型,Platinum 13% Rhodium-Platinum (铂13%铑-铂),与S型类似,灵敏度6-14μV/℃•;B型,Platinum 30% Rhodium-Platinum 6% Rhodium (铂30%铑-铂6%铑),温度范围达1700℃,非常稳定,但灵敏度低,特别是在低温范围时,在室温时就很微小了。尽管其高成本和低热电功率,B型热电偶一直是高温测量的基础。
0℃到2300℃,钨铼热电偶•;C型硬性或柔性,Tungsten-Rhenium 5%Re- Tungsten-Rhenium 26%Re,用于极高温度的测量,可达2300℃,用于还原中和气氛中,合金的熔点非常高,蒸汽压力很低,但没有延展性。柔性的热电偶可测温度达1800℃
